I grew up on the coast of Maine and was an English major at the University of Maine in Orono. I loved being an English major and was also finding myself very inspired by my art and architecture history classes. I was extremely drawn to mid-century art and design and loved learning about the characters that shaped that time period. As an undergrad, I also worked part time for a popular lingerie retailer and decided I wanted to go into retail design. I later studied towards a Master’s degree in Interior Design at the Boston Architectural College. While studying full-time, I also had many different design jobs in the Boston area. From large, corporate, interior design and architecture firms to small, residential interiors and all things in between, I was exposed to it all and ultimately discovered my passion really lead me to residential design.
I love to do anything outdoors, especially in Maine. I am an avid hiker, I love the ocean and I love to discover new places. I thrive in the excitement of urban settings, but also need nature and peace as a balance. I love photography, travel and of course, design. I currently divides my time between Pennsylvania and Maine where I have design projects.
